Networking in Three States
Had an eventful last couple of weeks. I got to go to Vermont to meet with our friends at Eating Well magazine to see if their are some more ways for Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy to work together with them. While up north, I also went with Lisa Porterfield and Dr Adam Shafran to the National Publicity Summit where I got to be on a panel with other TV, print and radio personalities to help aspiring experts learn how to pitch the media. On the subject of panels I was invited to one of Andrew Dietz's events and got to help a room full of professional service providers learn about best practices using Social Media. Also on the panel were: Michael Kogon with Definition 6, Debra Kline with BusinessWise and Lisa Tilt with Full Tilt Consulting. Then to close things out we had our quarterly casual business networking event at Cafe Intermezzo that we co-hosted with Erik Wolf and Stephanie Frost with Zero G Creative. Here are some pictures from the event.
