Impossible Astronaut Productions was founded in 2011 when filmmakers Matt Pye & Josh Mitton met. Matt Pye came from a background of sound engineering and a fond interest in Film & animation. Josh Mitton came from an animation and Film background as well After working on a couple short films together, the two decided to form impossible Astronaut. With the sole purpose of creating new and creative digital‐media both in the entertainment and commercial industries. In 2014 they moved the company from Jacksonville FL. To Atlanta Ga. and have seen much success. After winning multiple awards for their short films, they are now preparing to produce a feature length motion picture set to release in the summer of 2016.
