Sarah McCraren is a Tucson native with a strong sense of community. Sarah spent many years in the corporate finance world specializing in the operational analysis, measurement and accountability systems, project management and software implementations. However, Sarah wanted to do work which was meaningful and would positively impact her community. She found that saving lives and reducing injuries through comprehensive safety programs fit that bill. Sarah leads the McCraren Compliance team by keeping everyone focused on their primary purpose and balancing the needs of all their stakeholders.
Sarah serves on the Board for the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Tucson Chapter, Southwest University of Visual Arts, Conscious Capitalism Arizona and are active with the Arizona Builders Alliance, Arizona Rock Products Association and Arizona Transportation Builders.
Stacey Lemos, CPA is the Administrative Services Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Town of Oro Valley, where she has worked since 2005. Oro Valley is a community of about 44,000 residents located just north of Tucson in northern Pima County. As CFO, she manages the preparation of the annual budget totaling $140 million, all accounting, investment and debt management functions of the town, and provides management oversight over the Information Technology and Human Resources departments. She also served as Oro Valley’s Interim Assistant Town Manager in 2009/2010. Lemos’ career in local government spans 28 years. Prior to her tenure at Oro Valley, Lemos served as the Finance Director for the City of Willcox, AZ, Finance Director and Interim Town Manager for the Town of Sahuarita, AZ and was the Deputy Finance Director for the City of Tucson.
She grew up in northwest Tucson, attended high school at Canyon Del Oro High School in Oro Valley and graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. She is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona, having served on the Board of Directors for a number of years and is a past president. She serves as Chair of the Oro Valley Local Public Safety Pension Board and is a recipient of the 2014 CFO of the Year Award in Government. She enjoys
spending time with her family traveling, camping, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors.
