Samuel Harrell established founded S. C. Harrell Consulting Services (SCHCS) in 2007 in Tucson AZ. Specializing in digital-aged business solutions, SCHCS helps small to medium-sized businesses integrate today’s Internet technologies into their operations, without losing their personality.
In his 50 years of experience, Sam participated in some way in the evolution of many of the technologies being used today, including the Internet and GPS. In 1974, while working as a communication and telemetry specialist at a NASA tracking station in the South Atlantic, and a systems engineer at Goddard Space Center in Greenbelt Maryland he supported several major history-making space launches. During those years he worked on everything from large mainframe computers, to mini and microcomputers. After leaving the space program in 1980, he went to work for the DOD, where he ultimately became a systems test engineer and project manager for a tactical systems prototype development facility that built and delivered those systems to Europe and other places throughout the US.
In 1989, after leveling the aerospace and defense industry, Sam started a successful building maintenance company in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Because of his love for technology, this action inspired him to create automated estimating tools and the launching of FlxNet.com, an e-commerce solutions business focused on janitorial.
All in all, his life mirrors 50 years of technological evolution from hardware to cyberspace.
