Lisa West / West Marketing Group

Lisa West has a unique, multi-faceted, mobile-centric background. She has a combined 18 years’ experience across agency, big brand, carrier, and association.

Most recently Lisa led Mobile Marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group. In her role, Mrs. West had responsibility for mobile marketing strategy and execution including owned and paid mobile media across all 11 IHG hotel brands and the IHG Rewards Club loyalty program. Prior to joining IHG in 2011, she has worked with impressive companies such as Promethean, a leader in the educational technology space, Air2Web, an SMS platform, Microsoft where she launched the very first tablet, Cingular Wireless (AT&T) on the promotions team, and GSMA where she was responsible for the association’s Mobile Innovation Marketplace initiative which brought together Mobile Developers, and the world’s VCs and telecom carriers and placed them on global stages; such as Mobile World Congress and Mobile Asia Congress.

She has recently won 2 prestigious awards: A career achievement “Mobility Star” award from the Atlanta Metro Chamber and named, “Mobile Women to Watch in 2014” from Mobile Marketer Magazine.

Mrs. West holds 2 Bachelor’s degrees, English and Business Communications, from the University of Kansas is PM certified and currently resides in Dunwoody with her husband and 2 children. She is currently consulting with local start ups and looking for her next great adventure.
