Lilia Postolachi, General Manager of the World Trade Center Atlanta and interns Kristina George and Katie Payton join hosts Dana and Elizabeth for a rundown of the Atlanta business headlines, a discussion of some hot topics in business and the latest from the World Trade Center.  Katie and Kris also share some highlights of the internship program at the World Trade Center Atlanta.

Sylvia Lafair, President of Creative Energy Options and author of  GUTSY: How Women Leaders Make Change and Donna Kelsick, CEO of A.S.K. Unlimited join Dana and Elizabeth to talk through the Atlanta business headlines, including social media, Reese Witherspoon and VC’s investing in women owned business.  The group also focused on the changing dynamics for women in business and talked about the work both Sylvia and Donna are doing with consulting and speaking around the country.

City Club of Buckhead Membership Director, Amanda Chasse joins host Dana Barrett on the Good Morning Atlanta show.  The two discuss the business of weddings, the Atlanta business headlines as well as talking about the history and services at the City Club of Buckhead.

Janie Shelton from V-Rooms and Ron Hakala from the Currahee Club join Dana for a recap of the April Fools hijinks in corporate America as well as the local Atlanta business headlines.

Janie shared her insights into the need for secure document exchange and Ron tempted us with details of the good life at the Currahee Club on Lake Hartwell in Toccoa, Georgia.

Dana and Elizabeth then hit the headlines (over the head) and dig into a new study by Georgia State that says “welfare does not promote work or marriage”.

Microsoft Senior Application Platform Solution Specialist David Rodriguez joins Dana and Elizabeth to talk about the Atlanta business headlines and dig into the problem of “big data”.  David spent some time explaining why we now have big data, how fast the amount of data we have is growing and some of the solutions Microsoft has in place to deal with it.

New World Trade Center members Dan Bradbary, John West, and Robert Stephens join Dana and Elizabeth in the studio to talk about the Atlanta Business headlines and share some news and updates from their respective businesses.

Dan Bradbary is the Founder and CEO of V-Rooms, which helps companies with “Secure Document Exchange”. He talked about the need companies have to securely share documents and information with parties “Beyond-The-Firewall” and explained how using a private-cloud like V-Room works.

John West is an International Management Consultant with AmAsia 3.  He shared some of the projects he works on, including team building at the Richard Petty Driving Experience!

And last but not least, Robert Stephens, Managing Partner at CFO Navigator shared the work he does helping companies who are in the ‘teen’ or ‘tween’ stage, where they need to pay more attention to their numbers but don’t have the financial horsepower to do so.
