Lisa Ezzard/Tiger Mountain Vineyards
Tiger Mountain Vineyards, a boutique north Georgia winery, cultivates all of its grapes and produces all of its handcrafted wines in the mountains of Rabun County. The winery, along with its historic Red Barn Cafe, is jointly owned by four native Georgians: John and Martha Ezzard and John and Marilyn McMullan.
Tiger Mountain Vineyards is proud of the old-world methods used in creating their handcrafted wines. They produce traditional dry wines in the European style from each of their grape varieties, three red blends, and an award-winning semi-dry Rose as well as a late-harvest dessert wine. Their red wines are fermented in small-batch open tanks. Each tank is meticulously monitored and tended by hand. White wines are fermented in French oak barrels and bottled precisely when the desired crispness is achieved. They barrel age their reds for two years in American oak. All of Tiger Mountain wines are delicately pressed using water pressure. While continuing to focus on traditional methods, Tiger Mountain Vineyards has recently invested in expert consultation so that they may continue improving each new vintage of their top-quality wines.

She has started several non-profits including Music For Tomorrow which provided immediate financial assistance to jazz musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina and currently provides economic opportunities for jazz musicians around the country. Kashi is a native Atlantan. She attended The George Washington University for her undergraduate studies and Georgia Tech for graduate research. Kashi was selected as a member of Outstanding Atlanta’s Class of 2015, as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 in 2014, and as a member of the 2013 LEAD Atlanta and LaunchPad2X classes.
