Guest, Sabrina Yvellez, is a 12-year-old from Johns Creek, who became a “Difference Maker” when she started working toward earning her Girl Scouts Silver Award. She decided to raise all the funds for the Johns Creek Veterans Memorial Women In Service monument in Newtown Park – all $13,000 of it! Her decision was based on wanting to show appreciation for the women veterans’ commitment, courage and character – three traits it appears Ms Yvellez has as well! She appears to be a quiet, young girl, but underneath that smooth exterior lies a decisive, determined and devoted dynamo with a plan as brilliant as a well-cut diamond! She is definitely a “Difference Maker”!
