His expertise in repositioning and restructuring operations and sales for such global technology service providers as Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., and Electronic Data Systems, Inc., helps him effectively position Alphanumeric for significant growth and improved efficiency as the company enters its fourth decade of business.
Harvey is also a founding board member and former chairman of the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) and a member of the North Carolina Children’s Hospital Board of Visitors.

Steve Cain, President, Triangle BABCNC
Steve Cain is a pharmaceutical commercial strategy expert with a 30 year track record of achievement in the global pharmaceutical industry. Steve was with GlaxoSmithKline for over 20 years, most recently as Head of Global Product Strategy Operations within R&D. Since leaving GSK, he has established his own life sciences consultancy (Psscion LLC) focused on delivering marketing, commercialization strategy and corporate development services for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical technology companies. Steve is also Chief Commercial Officer for SOV Therapeutics, a clinical stage biotechnology company based in Research Triangle Park, NC.
Steve’s skills encompass strategic planning, new product development, commercialization, and business operations with a successful leadership record across all phases of product development, launch strategy and lifecycle management in a broad range of therapeutic areas and markets, including Europe, the USA and Japan. Originally from London and following several years living and working in Japan, Steve and his family, now proud dual US and UK citizens, have settled in Raleigh, North Carolina. Steve is committed to the success of the Triangle and Eastern Region of North Carolina and it was the opportunity to contribute to further strengthening the partnership between NC and British businesses that drew his interest in helping to establish the Triangle Chapter of the BABCNC.
