Mary Madden is Chairman and Executive Director of the Atlanta office of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Mary recently grew Information America, Inc. from $0 to $25 million in profitable revenue with venture capital backing, executed an IPO, and finally the sale of the entire company. The venture capitalist doubled their money.
Mary has experience with several other early stage companies as well as large and later stage companies, who often acquire entrepreneurial companies. She also has worked to turn around companies that have misjudged the market, ignored financial warning signs, become too complacent to change, or were unable to position themselves strategically in a particular market.
Mary has been active for eight years in the Central Eurasia Leadership Academy providing education and contacts for rising leaders in the nine countries of the Caucasus, Central Asia and Afghanistan.
