Arnaud Viviers is President, CEO and co-founder of Atlanta-based OrcaTec, which provides technology and services for categorizing, analyzing and retrieving information from huge data sets, especially in the areas of eDiscovery, risk management and regulatory compliance.
Arnaud’s specialty is in helping mad scientists commercialize their cutting-edge science by finding practical applications for it, building a business around it and bringing it to market.
Arnaud is a serial entrepreneur, originally from South Africa, who has been in the United States since 1996. Besides OrcaTec, he has founded such technology companies as Samech Technology, PriceCompete and Strategic Data Retention.
A former Officer in the South African Airforce (Air Defense Unit), Arnaud is a trained computer programmer with a distinguished sales career at Burroughs. Sperry, Unisys, Prime Computer and Sybase.
He is a regular speaker on issues related to eDiscovery and corporate storage of Big Data, particularly concerning archiving, search, categorization, advanced analytics and predictive coding.
Clint Crosby/Baker Donelson
Clint Crosby is a shareholder in the Atlanta Office of Baker Donelson. Clint focuses his practice on intellectual property and the procurement and protection of intellectual property assets for his clients. Clint also works with entrepreneurs and emerging companies to guide them through business issues including formation, business agreements, employment agreements, joint- development agreements, intellectual property agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and related matters. Clint acts as outside general counsel for many of his clients.
Clint provides insight on the firm’s support of entrepreneurs and emerging companies.
