Deleise Lindsay/Well-Change Group
Deleise A. Lindsay is the founder and managing principal of Well-Change, a boutique management consulting firm that equips leaders and managers to achieve business objectives during a time of change. While other consultants may practice purely from theory, her approach is based on many years of experience helping organizations avoid the impact of mismanaged change. Her unique value proposition is one of a consultant to senior management and an advocate for the employees during times of change.
Deleise’s most impactful change initiative was leading the beta testing and ultimate conversion of a manual system of client record keeping and delivery to an automated system that was later adopted by the entire industry.
To make a difference in closing the gap in the Health IT workforce, Deleise is leveraging her culmination of experience through such organizations as Georgia HIMSS, TAG Health Society Board of Directors, Healthcare Business Women’s Advisory Board, Gwinnett Tech HealthIT Advisory Board, the Metro Atlanta Chamber Workforce Subcommittee and moderator/co-chair for the Health IT Leadership Summit. Deleise also serves as adjunct faculty for the Southern Polytech’s Accelerated Health IT certification program teaching the section on “Emerging Careers in Health IT”. She is the Chair of TAG’s Health IT Job Fair for 2012 and 2013.
Prior to founding Well-Change, Deleise was vice president of F&H Solutions Group, a startup management consulting firm affiliated with Ford & Harrison, LLP, an employment and labor law firm.
Previously, Deleise was the district managing consultant for DBM, a global transition management firm, where she led a high impact team of professionals that provided consulting services to a variety of Fortune 500 organizations in five Southeast markets.
Deleise has also served as an international recruitment specialist for a healthcare company and as a member of the corporate human resources team for First Union Bank in Charlotte, N.C. As an entrepreneur, she owned and managed a retail establishment.
Media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, CBS Marketwatch, USA Today Online, and National Public Radio (NPR) have solicited Deleise’s input and directly quoted advice as a nationally recognized expert in transition services. With her engaging and thought-provoking style of presentation, she is also a well-sought-after speaker on transition and change management topics.
With a personal mission to “encourage and motivate” individuals to discover and follow their passions, she found one of her most rewarding experiences was placing students in academically supported internship and co-op positions during her five-year tenure with the Indiana State University Career Center, her alma mater where she received both a bachelors and masters degrees in education.
