It has been estimated that approximately 1.4 million Americans are affected by inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) , especially Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. These are chronic diseases with no known cure that can be debilitating to live with and at times life threatening. North America is considered a high incidence area for IBD. In this show, Dr. Sonenshine will provide basic information on these diseases as well as provide information on symptoms, diagnosis, management, what’s new in treatments, and available support for these patients.
