In 2012, over 1 billion people crossed international borders, yet reportedly, only 13% of them sought any kind of health care information or visits prior to departure. People are traveling for business, as tourists, for adventure and for longer stays. The CDC estimates that 30-60% of travelers will be come ill as a result of their travel.
