In 1998, Colette Bell, alongside her husband Andy Bell, founded Handyman Matters, a company they nurtured into a successful franchise model by 2001.
Their entrepreneurial journey led to the acquisition of Handyman Matters by Ace Hardware in September 2019.
Presently, Colette holds the position of Vice President in Franchise Development under the rebranded Ace Handyman Services. Since the acquisition, the company has experienced significant expansion, growing from 119 territories to 389 across 47 states. 
Colette brings her academic background, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Colorado State University, to the table, contributing to the successful scaling and development of the franchise.
