After a successful career as a top performer in the scientific world, Paulo Gouveia decided it was time to take control of his future. Now he’s using his experience, scientific knowledge, and expertise in operations management as both President of PureRenew Plus and Owner of Filta.
His passion for sustainability perfectly fits the mission of Filta, as it is a pioneer in environmental kitchen sustainability to make commercial kitchens faster, cleaner, safer, and greener. Gouveia’s Filta territory serves west of Boston, including Waltham, Burlington, Somerville, Cambridge and Framingham.
Having lived or worked in nearly every town throughout his existing territory, Paulo knows the landscape well and is serving members of his own communities. His technicians service major clients like Google, Dell, Oracle, Thermo Fisher, Sanofi, Whole Foods, numerous restaurants, TJX sites, and Bentley College.
At Bentley College alone, Gouveia’s Filta services have saved 8,460 pounds of oil and recycled 8,304 pounds of waste oil. Through this, 28,011 pounds of greenhouse gases were reduced in just Q1 of 2024.
Rob Totten is the VP of Franchise Development at Filta Group, Inc., the leading provider of sustainable commercial kitchen services in the USA.
With over 30 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, and team management, he helped grow and support the franchise network of Filta, which offers the innovative FiltaGold, FiltaFry, FiltaBio, and FiltaCool services to clients across various sectors.
In his previous roles as COO and Business Development/Sustainability Director at Filta, Rob contributed to the company’s impressive growth from $12 million to over $100 million in annual revenue, and led the company through the COVID-19 pandemic with resilience and innovation.
He also built and maintained relationships with national accounts such as Compass, Aramark, Sodexo, and Centerplate, increasing sales at franchise, regional, and national levels.
As an Eagle Scout, Rob is passionate about Filta’s mission to make commercial kitchens faster, safer, cleaner, and greener, and he is always eager to connect with other professionals, customers, and franchisees who share this vision.
