Chris Allison, CMO of Slim Chickens, has served in the restaurant marketing and advertising field for his entire career.
Prior to joining Slim Chickens, Allison founded and served as CEO of The Allison Agency, a full-service retail advertising and marketing company from 1996 to 2011. The firm specialized in regional and national clients in the restaurant and food service fields.
The Allison Agency became a leading marketer for regional and national restaurant companies representing 13 brands in all 50 states. The firm specialized in all forms of marketing including brand development and strategy, traditional and non-traditional media, local store marketing, creative development, sales promotion, research and development of new products, franchisee assistance and communications systems, fulfillment systems and all other aspects of restaurant marketing needs.
The firm received numerous awards including seven Best Of Show awards from the Arkansas Chapter of The American Advertising Federation annual advertising awards, the most of any Arkansas agency during our 14-year participation in the competition. The agency was also recognized by numerous national industry trade associations with excellence in advertising awards from Nation's Restaurant News, QSR Magazine and others.
Prior to founding his own firm, Allison served in several executive positions in other regional and national advertising firms from 1987 to 1996. Allison is a noted speaker and author. He has conducted local store marketing workshops and served as a keynote speaker for several national restaurant companies.
In 2007, he was selected by the editorial board of Aspatore Books of Boston, MA as a contributing writer for a nationally distributed book series featuring agency CEOs and founders.
