Change 4 Georgia collects items from the “Wish Lists” of serving troops, items that will fit in backpacks and are needed and wanted to add comfort in remote areas. At home, C4G helps to support families of deployed troops by collecting food, clothing, diapers, shcool supplies, personal items, furniture and appliances with special projects. Year round, C4G holds “Fabulous Food Drives” and adopts veteran families that meet specific criteria. During the holidays, C4G runs a “Terrific Toy” drive for the children of veterans in need.
To assist veterans who are pursuing a college degree, Change 4 Georgia has entered into partnerships with North Georgia College and Georgia Perimeter College and awards scholarships to deserving veteran students.
