We welcome Wayne Kidd from the Johns Creek (Georgia) Veterans Association.
Johns Creek Georgia Veterans Association is a relatively new group, organized by veterans and for veterans and has the full support of the village of Johns Creek, Georgia. The JCVA is moving quickly to establish a Veterans Memorial Walk to recognize military veterans from all eras, increasing awareness within the community of the price paid by military veterans to serve.
The group and the memorial serve as an example of how a small group of individuals, who share a common bond in this case military service, can establish an organization, secure public support, creating veteran recognition in the community.
Great job guys!
Our next guest is Mike Roman. Mike’s company is Manufacturing Practices, Inc., known as MPI
Manufacturing Practices, Inc. serves the manufacturing and distribution community by assisting them in the selection and
implementation of Enterprise Management Systems (ERP). MPI originated in the mid-1980’s when Mike Roman, CPIM, joined a small family-owned business performing IT, materials, and operations management. While there Mike helped to successfully deploy business management software for the organization. As soon as the responsibilities were transferred to a colleague, Mike moved on to help other small and midsize manufacturers maximize the performance of their systems.
MPI clients have included over 60 manufacturers in a wide variety of fields such as steel fabrication, flower and seed, and extruded plastics. The company focuses on providing personal and comprehensive services to small and midsize
companies that are the backbone of the American economy.
Mike and MPI serve as an example of how some military experience and skills can be applied to the corporate world and creating your own business and being part of the community.
Wayne Kidd and Mike Roman are Vietnam Veterans. Thank you for your service and Welcome Home!
