Butch Miller is a member of the Georgia State Senate from the 49th District, serving since 2010. He is a member of the Republican Party. In May, he announced his candidacy for the 2022 Georgia lieutenant gubernatorial election.
Raised in Northeast Georgia, Butch Miller is a proven conservative who is not afraid to stand up for Georgia values. Butch ushered in the largest tax cut in state history, helped save the HOPE scholarship, protected life at conception, passed one of America’s strongest immigration laws, and stood up for Georgia’s brave law enforcement officers.
