Sara Khaki /The Khaki Law Firm
Sara Khaki, with The Khaki Law Firm, has lived in Georgia since 1996 when she moved to the United States from Europe. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University, Summa Cum Laude, and went on to law school at University of Georgia School of Law. Since graduating from law school in 2008, Sara has devoted her legal practice solely to Social Security Disability. This is an area of law that is very close to her heart since she witnessed her mom suffer from cancer twice while Sara was a child and then a young adult; this truly opened her eyes up at a young age to the profound effect an individual’s health can have on the quality of life for an entire family.
As an attorney, Sara has represented over a thousand Social Security claimants throughout most of the southeast with a great success rate. She has represented claimants all the way from the initial application process through the U.S. District Court Appeals. She has extensive experience with working with the Social Security Administration, medical providers, educators, employers, and expert witnesses to gain a favorable outcome for her claimants.
Sara often gives presentations to different community organizations that serve the disabled so that she can offer health care providers and social workers more education on the rights of the disabled.
Sara Khaki is admitted to the Georgia State Bar and the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Georgia. Sara is also an active member of NOSSCR (National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives), Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) and the Atlanta Bar Association.
