Legacy Leaders Radio tackled the hard-to-hear crisis about children who are sold into sex in Atlanta and around the United States. Street Grace is an alliance of Christian Churches dedicated to the eradication of domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST), and its president and CEO, Cheryl Deluca-Johnson spoke on-air with Host Jack Perry, Jr. about this crisis going on right now in our cities.
Cheryl has more than 20 years of humanitarian work, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a background specializing in women’s issues, specifically women and addiction.
Jack and Cheryl led a discussion that everyone should hear. The Internet has enabled DMST to grow, and according to Cheryl, there is no such thing as a child prostitute; they are children being abused by adults. The laws in this country need to catch up with the problem, and Street Grace is championing the efforts to change the laws and bring awareness to this terrible crisis.
