The Jackson County School System is excited to welcome students and families! The district is fully committed to student performance through personalized learning. Preparing students for the future remains a top priority, and the focus will continue on The 7 Mindsets: Everything is Possible, Passion First, We are Connected, 100% Accountable, Attitude of Gratitude, Live to Give, and The Time is Now. Families are encouraged to discuss these mindsets with their children and explore how they contribute to building character and academic success. In addition to fostering remarkable learning experiences, the district is preparing for significant growth within the community. It is truly an exciting time to be part of Jackson County. ESPLOST is the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, which allows for local school systems to ask voters to support a one penny sales tax for school improvement projects. The funds can be used for capital projects and debt repayment. Each ESPLOST renewal term period is for 60 months, or until the maximum limit is reached.

Tom Sheldon is a lifelong Georgian and longtime businessman in the Northeast Georgia area.

With a strong history in the business networking world; Tom has served as Chairman, President and Vice-President in multiple networking organizations. His fundamentals are simple: build relationships through networking and provide support when needed. Tom has worked with other BRX studios since 2018 as a host and guest host; he is now the proud CEO and Executive Producer of the Northeast Georgia Business RadioX Studio. The podcasting world nicely compliments his Voice Over career he began in 2019.
