Reboot Jackson 2024 Annual Tee Up for recovery Golf Tournament
Golf enthusiasts throughout Northeast Georgia participated in Reboot Jackson’s 5th annual Tee Up For Recovery Golf Tournament on Monday, November 11th, 2024 at Chimney Oaks Golf Club in Homer, GA. The tournament is a fundraiser to help support the mission of Reboot Jackson and assist people seeking recovery with much needed resources including housing, transportation, treatment services, job placement and GED preparation to name a few.
Reboot Jackson is organized around the concept of a Recovery Community Organization. It adheres to its goals of recovery-focused advocacy activities, recovery focused community education and outreach programs, and peer-based recovery support services. Since it started in 2018, the organization has been able to provide transportation to its clients through the use of a donated van. Partnered with Lanier Technological College, Reboot Jackson offers GED classes for its clients and connects clients to other resources such as treatment facilities and employment opportunities. The team offers individualized support based on each person’s needs and helps them navigate their own path to a successful recovery that leads to a life of fulfillment.
