United Way of Northeast Georgia is a local nonprofit that is working to meet the highest priority needs of Northeast Georgia. They cover a 12-county region, offering grants to programs serving in basic needs, early childhood success, and workforce development; provide 211, a free and confidential health and human services referral program; and in partnership with other local organizations, offer education and training opportunities to other nonprofits in the region.
Since 1954, United Way of Northeast Georgia has been making a difference in the lives of people in Northeast Georgia, but they know there is always more to learn about the communities they serve and how they can improve that service. For that reason, United Way of Northeast Georgia believes it is critical to listen to, learn from, and collaborate with their staff, board members, volunteers, donors, and, most importantly, the people in the communities of Northeast Georgia.
United Way of Northeast Georgia believes a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential to the success of the region. We all must do our part, working UNITED, to create a more equitable community and ensure that everyone has access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to live and thrive.
Working UNITED, and with your continued support, they are committed to addressing the region’s challenges and inequities, healing our communities, and providing resources, opportunities, and support to all Northeast Georgians
