Greg Maxwell & Kate Wilson/Jackson County Schools Work Based Learning
Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs connect employers and schools to offer students unique opportunities that bridge classroom learning with real-world application. These experiences, which may be paid or unpaid, help students explore career interests, assess training needs, and cultivate the skills and mindset essential for future employment. WBL empowers students to discover their passions and equips them to pursue their chosen paths. School credit is awarded for participation in these valuable experiences.
