Bryan Krohn is the CFO of bitpay, a merchant acquirer for merchants wishing to accept bitcoin as a form of payment from their buyers. BitPay is the leading Bitcoin payment service provider for which the company has been called the “PayPal of Bitcoin”. As of May 2014, BitPay provided payment processing services for more than 40,000 businesses including the gaming giant Zynga, popular blogging platform WordPress, and the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, and had processed over $100 million worth of bitcoin transactions by 2013.
