The W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is one of the largest business schools in the United States with nearly 20,000 students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, and PhD degrees.
The School of Accountancy offers multiple degree programs and serves more than 1,500 students.
Its undergraduate program in accounting is ranked #13 nationally by US News, and the accounting faculty is consistently ranked in the top-10 for research productivity.
Andy Call is the Accountancy Professional Advisory Board Professor and the Director of the School of Accountancy in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
He graduated with a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Washington, after earning his MAcc and B.S. degrees in accounting at Brigham Young University.
Professor Call was previously on the faculty at the University of Georgia, joined the faculty at ASU in 2013, and became the Director of the School of Accountancy in 2018.
Professor Call’s research focuses primarily on (a) employee whistleblowers and their involvement in the discovery of financial misreporting, and (b) the activities of Wall Street analysts and their impact on the capital markets.
His research has been published in leading academic journals, including Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, and Review of Accounting Studies, and has been featured in many prominent media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Bloomberg, CFO Magazine, The Motley Fool, and CNBC).
Professor Call currently serves as an editor at The Accounting Review, has taught financial reporting topics to both undergraduate and graduate students, and has received numerous teaching and research awards.

Chad Dean joined IMR in 2002, and he quickly became one of the top recruiters in the firm. Chad purchased IMR in 2009, and he has since expanded the recruiting capabilities of the firm.
Today, Chad manages the day to day operations while being a player coach to a team of 11 recruiters. IMR’s success and track record, through up and down market cycles, has made the firm a key partner to the industry for talent acquisition.
In 2018 IMR replicated the success it developed recruiting top talent for highly scrutinizing banks and hedge funds into two additional verticals: Private Equity Portfolio Companies and a local Phoenix, AZ executive search practice.
Chad Dean has been in the recruiting industry for over 25 years. Chad Dean is the owner, operator, and lead recruiter at Integrated Management Resources. Chad was born and raised in Scottsdale, AZ.
During his collegiate undergrad program, Chad played Varsity Golf while managing his schooling and work. College golf brought Chad to many places including Spain, Texas, and Kansas.
His recruiting career began in 1996 with Aerotek in Austin, Texas, recruiting tech engineers. Chad returned to his native Arizona in 1998, while continuing to recruit engineers for the technology and aerospace industries.
In 2002, while working full time and going to school in the evenings for his MBA, Chad met Barry Franklin, the founder of Integrated Management Resources. Chad quickly joined Barry, and learned the financial industry, which coincided nicely with his MBA finance classes. In 2009, Chad took over ownership of Integrated Management to continue the legacy that Barry Franklin had built.
Chad is passionate about his family, fly fishing, and enjoys the great outdoors. He has a Bachelors in Biology from Fort Hays State University, and an MBA from Arizona State University.
