Aram Chavez is a teacher and mentor to world-class students at Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU).
Freeing them from the traditional constructs of uniformity with lateral thinking through entrepreneurial road-mapping—teaching interdisciplinary courses with an atlas–Aha to Exit©. Aha To Exit exists to enable anyone, anywhere in the world, to have an idea that addresses any pain (problem) or gap (opportunity) to use our tools, strategies, advisors, and entrepreneurial community to build a repeatable and scalable business.
RECOGNITION
His teaching at ASU earned him the Highest Rated Professor at ASU (State Press, 2015). He received the FSE Faculty Teaching Excellence Award (ASU, 2017). He was also featured as “20 People to Know – Startups: Phoenix Business Journal (2017). He was nominated for the FSE Faculty Teaching Excellence Award (ASU, 2018). Nomination for the W.P. Carey John W. Teets Outstanding Teaching award (ASU, 2020).
MISSION
Chavez present focus is to teach hundreds of students annually; and, mentor dozen within ASU. He teaches the only process for innovators to become enterprisers. To that end, he recently co-authored a generative map with a temporal view of how to teach innovators to become entrepreneurs.
INVESTOR, ENTREPRENEUR & TEACHER
He is an investor (since 1993), entrepreneur (since 1984), and formal teacher (since 2012) who carries extensive international business expertise. He speaks regularly on finance and entrepreneurship. He is community-driven and sponsored ASU’s first Women’s Entrepreneurship club at ASU (2013), he is a Board Member of Tonto Creek Camp, which manages Camp Tontozona annually and delivers curriculum to underserved youth every summer. He is the majority owner of two companies.

About Your Host
Debra Hildebrand is the Founder and CEO of The Lurnist. She has over 20 years’ experience in consulting and over 10 years in corporate training and teaching in higher education.
She is one of the architects for the Project Management Certification program at the University of Washington, where she received the Team Teaching Excellence Award and currently instructs in the online portion of the program. Additionally, she developed and currently teaches two highly popular online courses at Stanford University. She has developed and produced over 200 educational videos.
Prior to building her own business, she worked as a management consultant for a boutique consulting company in the Pacific Northwest where her role included creating successful solutions for high profile, complex, cross-functional projects in the public sector.
She earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, NY and she serves on the advisory board for the University of Washington Project Management Certificate Program and is a National Mentor for SeedSpot.
