Pelican Media is a Tempe, Arizona-based creative media company dedicated to helping businesses tell their stories authentically and effectively so they can grow. Pelican Media has helped businesses all over the globe with video, photography, web development, and collateral design since 2011.
Sam Pagel started Pelican Media back in the summer of 2011 when he decided it was time to turn his passion for creative media into a business.
After being exposed to so many bad videos on local television and the web, he vowed to help local businesses tell their stories accurately and with imagination. He wanted to show the world that great promotional material belongs to everyone, not just the highbrow conglomerates with nothing but money.
Thus, Sam created Pelican Media to level the playing field. Since the beginning, Sam strongly believed in a job well done, on time, as promised. That is why Pelican Media has never missed a project deadline … ever.
Sam has endured late nights (that sometimes turn into early mornings) and 100+ hour work weeks to deliver products his clients are proud of. Since starting Pelican Media he has been able to work with so many amazing people and businesses. He has a passion for the work he does.

In the past, Chris served as the staff copywriter for a large credit union, UX/human factors researcher at the University of Iowa and full-time teaching faculty, teaching design, copy and strategy at the University of Oregon.
