Stephen Shadegg, from Americans for Prosperity talks with us about Arizona’s history and how freedom can help us t0 flourish as a state and act as an example to the rest of the country and the world.
Through broad-based grassroots outreach, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is driving long-term solutions to the country’s biggest problems.
AFP activists engage friends and neighbors on key issues and encourage them to take an active role in building a culture of mutual benefit, where people succeed by helping one another.
We recruit and unite concerned citizens in 35 states to advance policies that will help people improve their lives.
Stephen Shadegg is the State Director for the Arizona Chapter of Americans for Prosperity. Stephen is a third generation Arizona native who has a passion for politics, especially Arizona politics.
Stephen has substantial experience working on and managing both U.S. House and Senate campaigns.
In 2016, he served as Senator John McCain’s Deputy Campaign Manager before moving to Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s office as the Director of Outreach.
Most recently, Stephen managed Martha McSally’s campaign for U.S. Senate in 2018. Stephen is the son of former Congressmen John Shadegg and the grandson of Stephen C. Shadegg who managed campaigns for Berry Goldwater and grew up working on his father’s eight successful congressional campaigns.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Stacey, family, and friends, boating and offshore fishing.
