BioLab Sciences is a regenerative medicine company focused on creating new ways to heal the body. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, BioLab Sciences is discovering better ways to address orthopedic injuries, burns, wound care, pain management, aesthetic medicine, respiratory ailments, cardiovascular indications, ophthalmic issues and more.
The innovative team of medical professionals, biotechnologists and strategists accomplishes this through dedicated scientific studies and research, licensing existing patents and intellectual property, and by acquiring innovative products and technologies.
BioLab Sciences is currently transforming wound care through MyOwn Skin™, a biotechnology solution. The innovative solution leverages a very small sample of a patient’s own skin through a non-surgical procedure to reproduce three 4-inch x 4-inch skin grafts within a week. This eliminates the need to surgically remove, or harvest, large areas of healthy skin from other parts of the patient’s body to produce skin grafts, an operation that often creates a wound more painful than the original wound and increases the potential of infection. MyOwn Skin™ can also be used to accelerate the healing of chronic wounds, burns, diabetic foot ulcers and other difficult-to-heal wounds.
BioLab Sciences’ product portfolio includes a Rapid Antibody Test for COVID-19, which detects IgG and IgM antibodies specific to the 2019 novel coronavirus. The portfolio also comprises products such as Fluid Flow™ and Membrane Graft™. Fluid Flow™ is a unique amniotic liquid allograft used to accelerate soft-tissue repair, replacement and reconstruction. It’s currently being used to successfully address degenerative joint disorders, inflammatory conditions and soft-tissue injuries. The Membrane Graft™ is a dehydrated human amnion membrane (dHAM) allograft composed primarily of a connective tissue matrix that helps to regenerate soft tissue while inhibiting inflammation and scar tissue formation.
