Diana Vowels is General Manager for Galvanize Phoenix, one of eight campuses nationwide. Galvanize teaches web development and data science programs and Diana leads day to day activities of the campus to ensure Galvanize delivers exceptional, consistent experiences to all members, students and entrepreneurs. Galvanize opened its Phoenix campus in February 2017 and is now home to more than 110 companies, 300 entrepreneurs and 75 students.
Diana is a strategic Sales & Operations Leader with experience spanning various roles in Tech, Healthcare and Media sectors. She came to Phoenix as a media executive at Republic Media and went on to purchase, grow and ultimately sell a local healthcare company before moving into Tech, where she led the Arizona team at Groupon to launch a 150 person team at ASU Skysong in 2015.
Diana is passionate about growing the tech sector in Phoenix. “I’ve spent 10+ years in Phoenix and seen firsthand the progress we’ve made, but it’s not enough.
