Singer and Songwriter Jenny Jarnagin
Jarnagin Music LLC is a small, independent record label that was created to manage and finance singer/songwriter Jenny Jarnagin.
Jenny Jarnagin is a fresh and original sound in the singer-songwriter scene. With an earthy and sophisticated foundation, Jenny’s unique style is rich in substance with matters of the heart and soulful messages encapsulated in driving minimalistic infectious grooves.
Jenny’s pure story telling voice accompanied by her classically trained piano skills are influenced by an eclectic geographical upbringing. Jenny was born an “Okie” in Sayre, Oklahoma, and raised Canadian after her family immigrated to Salmon Arm, British Columbia where she enjoyed ocean fishing with her father and doing ranch work such as welding, building fences and driving tractors!
The musical journey began at the tender age of three when Jenny walked up to her family piano and began playing by ear, mimicking lullabies that her mother sang to her. As Jenny’s musical gifts evolved she performed regularly at rest homes, local churches and other town events where she became the church pianist at the young age of seven. Immersed in music Jenny spent her summers studying and performing at The Conservatory of Music in Victoria, British Columbia, and also dedicated a stint at the Conservatory of Music in St. Petersburg, Russia, eventually graduating from Texas A&M University. From there, Jenny went on to obtain her Master’s Degree from NAU.
A prolific songwriter, Jenny released her 10th album, Bullseye, in 2014, produced by Grammy Award winner Bubba Smith, recorded at Ben Folds (RCA) studio in Nashville, TN.
Jenny’s brand new recording features the fine rhythm section of Kenny Aronoff, Carmine Rojas and special guests, engineered and mixed by John Lousteau at the legendary Foo Fighters Studio 606. Watch for it in 2019!
