Society of St Vincent de Paul with Associate Executive Director Shannon Clancy
St. Vincent de Paul has been working to feed, clothe, house and heal people in Arizona since 1946. Services include food boxes, dining rooms, a medical and dental clinic, a transitional shelter, and support services for people experiencing homelessness and poverty. All programs are integrated to meet immediate needs, prevent homelessness, and provide support for those with nowhere else to turn for help.
Shannon Clancy is the Associate Executive Director & Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix where she oversees St. Vincent de Paul’s development, marketing and volunteer services functions. St. Vincent de Paul works to feed, clothe, house and heal homeless and working poor individuals and families and to provide opportunities for members of the community to engage in service.
The most rewarding part of Shannon’s work at St. Vincent de Paul is building relationships with committed, generous people who desire to make a difference in the lives of those in need. She is a daily witness to the lives that are changed as a result of this work, not simply among those that come to St. Vincent de Paul for help but also among the donors, volunteers and staff who open their arms and hearts to serve.
Shannon is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has a Masters in Human Development from the University of Maryland at College Park. She and her husband Dan Klocke have four children.
