BOT International is a boutique management consulting rm that specializes in PMO setup and management. BOT International provides a suite of facilitation-based services designed to help leadership teams establish and unanimously agree upon the purpose and value of their PMO and then develop business plans that specifically achieve the purpose and value of the PMO.
Mark Price Perry is a pioneer and advocate of the business driven PMO. Often characterized as a “boat-rocker” and outspoken critic, Mark challenges the traditional approach to PMO setup and management that has been advocated and practiced within the industry and that has led to PMO failures and loss of executive support. Mark offers an alternative approach to PMO setup and management, an approach driven by specific needs of the business as determined by the leadership team, not industry standards or the latest PMO models, buzzwords and hype.
Mark is the author of the Business Driven PMO three book series, published by J. Ross Publishing.

ABOUT PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE HOURS SERIES
Project Management Office Hours is intended to provide Project Management professionals a place to drop in and discuss Success Stories, Best Practices, and Lessons Learned. Project Management Consultant Joy Gumz has shared with us, “Operations keep the lights on, strategy provides the light at the end of the tunnel, but project management is the train engine that moves the organization forward.”
Each of us has a unique story to tell, but collectively we share a message that organizations who embrace Project Management Best Practices perform better than those which don’t. Organizations which align Projects to Strategy perform better. Organizations with Engage Executive Sponsors deliver better results. Organizations which measure Project Management performance outperform those which don’t.
