Rodney E. Abney, Jr., PLS, MBA – Principal
As a Principal at GreenbergFarrow, Rod Abney is a key leader at the firm with 20 years of experience in the land development and business operations arenas.
Mr. Abney, who is based in Atlanta, possesses diverse experience in the commercial real estate development arena, working with a wide range of clients on a national and international basis in the retail, hospitality, energy, residential, mixed use and government sectors.
Prior to joining GreenbergFarrow in 2007, Mr. Abney served on the Senior Management Team for a nationally prominent land development firm with excess of 250 employees. In this capacity he managed multiple office locations and multiple key Client relationships with an annual budget in excess of $10 million dollars.
Mr. Abney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Rene Ferandel RA, MBA, SLRC – Principal
Mr. Rene Ferandel is a nationally recognized leader in the Retail Design and Construction Industry. In his role as Principal responsible for the Growth and Diversification Strategy at GreenbergFarrow, Rene has been instrumental in the transformation of the firm from a large, single-client organization into the firm of choice for many national and international brands, including IKEA, Bed Bath & Beyond, GAP, Limited Brands, Carter’s, Savers, Whole Foods Market, Bob Evans, Starbucks, Chipotle, Wendy’s, and TD Bank, to name a few.
Among his other responsibilities, Rene is leading GreenbergFarrow’s expansion efforts into Latin America, including the recent opening of an office in downtown Mexico City. In addition to supporting the expansion efforts of one of the firm’s U.S.-based home goods clients into that market, the Mexico City office is serving as the beachhead for serving other U.S. and international retailers who are also expanding into Latin America.

Donna Ennis, C.P.F is the project director for the MBDA Business Center – Atlanta located at Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute (EI2). Funded by the Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), the MBDA Business Center’s mission is to grow and strengthen Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs).
A Certified Professional Facilitator, Donna is responsible for the strategic direction, marketing, outreach, and operations for the Center and provides assistance to Center clients in strategic, business and market planning; private and public procurement, finance, operations and business process improvement. Under her leadership, the Center has assisted MBEs in generating over $500 million in contracts, financing, and sales and creating more than 3,500 jobs.
