Working Out Where You Work S2E3
In this episode of “The Future of Work Podcast,” hosts Kyle McIntosh and Al Loveland welcome two long time members of the Mac 6 community, Jake Pfeiffer and Scott Marsh, to discuss the importance of health and fitness in the entrepreneurial and small business world. The conversation centers around the role of fitness in the workplace, its impact on personal and professional growth, and how it fosters a sense of community.
The conversation also covers the importance of a structured fitness program and the value of having a personal trainer like Scott who can provide guidance, create tailored workout plans, and adapt to the individual’s needs and abilities.
Scott emphasizes the importance of building fitness as a long-term lifestyle choice rather than a short-term, quick-fix solution, and he shares success stories from clients who have seen significant improvements in their health, strength, and overall well-being.
The episode sheds light on how fitness, when integrated into the daily lives of entrepreneurs and small business owners, can have a profound impact on their success and well-being. It emphasizes the importance of finding a fitness routine that works for each individual’s specific needs and goals, making fitness a lifelong commitment for better overall health and productivity.

ABOUT YOUR CO-HOSTS
With a focus in marketing and a background in various for profit and not for profit companies, including much professional and volunteer work, Kyle McIntosh wondered, “How can I pair the passion and commitment to community progress of a non-profit with the sustainability and reach of a for profit company?”
From this question and perspective a mission evolved to tear down the false distinction between the two sectors and to promote companies with Conscious Capitalism® business models through MAC6.
