Michael Peel is the Southern Arizona Director for Local First Arizona. In this role, Peel is responsible for managing LFA operations, membership, and programs in Tucson and the encompassing region. Peel has spent his career developing and facilitating community-based partnerships and collaborations, creating innovative long-lasting programs responsive to community issues lacking needed support, and bringing key partners together to create community and statewide solutions.
As Community and Government Relations Liaison at Pima Community College District, Peel was responsible for building and maintaining partnerships through community outreach, as well as developing legislative advocacy networks to collaborate with state, federal, and local elected officials, governmental and community agencies, business groups and coalitions, faith-based establishments, nonprofit organizations, administrators, staff, students, and the general public. As Development and Jobs Director of Uncommon Good, a grassroots non-profit organization, Peel led the formation of a regional coalition that successfully competed for federal funds of nearly $900,000 for a green jobs program. Peel has also served on a variety of boards, including most recently the Tucson City of Gastronomy, the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Tucson Emerging 2030 District, and Tucson Clean and Beautiful.
Alex Cataudella is a Tucson transplant from Kansas, and has been involved with Local First Arizona since she moved. Currently a student, she is studying Environmental Science and Sustainability while advocating for her local community. Her love for local business started in her hometown, while working at a local pet store. She understands the value that having unique local stores brings to the community and hopes to better serve them by advocating for them every day.

Wyatt Chambers is the Founder and Owner of CS Design Studios. He attended the University of Phoenix where he attained a BSIT Web Administration degree. Wyatt created CS Design Studios in 2008 after working for UPS as an eCommerce Consultant. His countless accomplishments include becoming a Google Partner, and a Horizon Interactive Awards winner which is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of interactive and creative media marketing. He works to ensure the success of any and all large projects by maintaining the goals and objectives of the organization in a Digital Marketing Perspective.

Jessica Badowski is the owner and founder of Tucson based Too Busy Gals. Too Busy Gals was established in 2008 in Ohio and moved to Arizona in 2011. It was established as a business to business service provider after multiple requests for assistance with social media, branding, and marketing from peer business owners. After 20+ years in non-profit management and anti-poverty social work, Jessica decided to break out and start her own business. In 2008, it became quickly apparently the need for high quality education and coaching social media services was exploding. After 3 years working with national partners in marketing and social media, Too Busy Gals began developing its own roster of clients. Current clientele ranges from a local manufacturing company, land developer, Moroccan artisan e-commerce business, to NYT Bestselling author, and non-profit serving breast cancer survivors.
Too Busy Gals is very active in the local Tucson business community. Currently, Legacy Partners of Local First Arizona, strategic partners with Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Marana Chamber of Commerce, and Vail Chamber of Commerce. Charity and volunteer work has been a passion of Jessica’s and is a central part of Too Busy Gals business model. Currently, Too Busy Gals is part of 100+Women Who Care Tucson, eWomen Network Foundation sponsor, and partner with Big Hearts, Helping Hands Arizona Secret Santa program.
Since 2008, Alexis Chapman has worked with restaurants, authors, entrepreneurs and business owners to ensure their customers receive stellar service, help to increase brand awareness and are run efficiently and effectively. She is a certified and accredited business coach. Her expertise is in digital marketing, digital brand analysis, community management, tactical guerrilla marketing, corporate copywriting, advertising, sales, customer service and customer experience. Alexis splits her time between Tucson, Arizona and Carmel, Indiana.
As a small business owners, Alexis is familiar with the challenges of being the sales, marketing, bookkeeping, and janitorial staff of a start-up. Her goal is to share information first and always serve her clients and the community.
