Tula Wellness is the vision of Dr. Arianna Sholes-Douglas, MD, who has spent her extensive medical career caring for women. Early in her medical career she developed and directed the High Risk Pregnancy Center at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She subsequently served as the Associate Director of the division of maternal-fetal medicine at Sinai Medical Center, also in Baltimore. Also during her career, Dr. Arianna served as clinical faculty at UCLA, University of Maryland, and Johns Hopkins Schools of Medicine.
She moved to Tucson in 2007 and joined Obstetrix Medical Group. After practicing as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist for 20 years, she retired from obstetrics. Changing gears, Dr. Arianna graduated from the University of Arizona’s Integrative Medicine Fellowship under Dr. Andrew Weil. She then opened Tula Wellness as a sacred space where women can receive truly integrated care. Dr. Arianna strives to help each woman feel her personal best and respects each individual’s path to health and healing. Her practice is centered around Integrative and Functional Medicine as well as Medical Aesthetics.
In 2016, Dr. Arianna was recognized for her innovation and vision when she won Inside Tucson Business’ Outstanding Women’s Health award. For More about Dr. Arianna, please visit her bio page on the Tula Wellness website.
