He has managed a single restaurant team and an organization with over 200 company owned locations.
Paul has spent over 20 years with the A&W brand starting as an area coach in the early 90’s, and is now the COO and President.

John Palumbo is the Sr. Director Franchise Development at A&W. Throughout his 20-year career he has had the great opportunity to work with some remarkable brands and companies in the QSR, Finance and Education categories. Still to this day the most amazing part of what he does remains helping people.
The joy of watching new franchise owners gain entry to entrepreneurship is still as exciting to him as it was 20 years ago. John has had the good fortune to learn under some wonderful leaders and mentors. He’s led large teams and small teams and has developed new restaurants both domestically and internationally in both the traditional and non-traditional space. 
John’s area of responsibilities and expertise include New Development, Real Estate and Franchise Financing. He’s truly blessed to do what he does every day for a remarkable, legacy brand like A&W Restaurants.
