In this episode, host Tom Sheldon & Chad Bingham dive into the upcoming TSPLOST vote in Jackson County, Georgia, scheduled for November 4th. TSPLOST, or Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, is a proposed one-percent sales tax dedicated to funding local transportation projects. Beyond road improvements, sidewalks, and traffic relief, officials say it could help lower the county’s millage rate—eventually reducing property taxes.
