The Piedmont Regional Library System’s Parent Partner initiative supports parents in fostering early literacy and learning at home. The program provides parents with educational resources, videos and hands-on activities designed to enhance children’s reading skills and school readiness. Through curated book selections, interactive learning kits and guidance from library staff; the initiative empowers families to create a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Parent Partner also encourages community engagement by connecting parents with local services and fellow parents.
