Today we opened the show with a couple of Atlanta’s top Certified Public Accountants Bruce Paulk and Gary Clayton with Clayton Paulk and Associates CPA firm. They shared a ton of business planning tips that they use to help their clients prepare for life’s uncertainties. They talked about how they work with their business owner clients to create a checklist that helps them with their succession planning, risk mitigation, disaster planning and other important stuff that most business owners don’t spend enough time thinking about. Next up we had an in depth conversation about short sales and the foreclosure process with Closing Attorney Matt Dickason with Dickason Law Group and Renovation Loan Specialist Brian Stephens with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Many Atlanta short sale sellers have homes that have not been maintained and they do not have the funding necessary to bring the homes up to good condition. Renovation loans allow the buyer to buy a short sale “as is” and then have funds added to their purchase mortgage to have the home renovated after closing
