Nancy Sears is a wife, mother, business person and angel.  She learned the power of the human touch more than thirty years ago when she was caring for a friend dying of AIDS.  Since then, she has spent a lifetime giving her time away to those in need of a compassionate touch.  Much of Nancy’s volunteering today is done through Compassionate Care Hospice.

Joining Nancy on the show today, Dave Savage is passionate about helping families communicate and memorialize their stories for future generations.  Like Nancy, Dave is a volunteer with Compassionate Care Hospice.  After spending many years in business, Dave became very interested in helping families “record their roots.”  Check out his work at www.memorykeepersvideo.com.

Michael Mullink has also dedicated his life and career to helping people.  Trained as a minister and chaplain, Michael spent most of the last six years as a chaplain for Compassionate Care Hospice.  He recently took on the role of Director of Volunteer Services.  Now he gets to coordinate the services of his “11th hour angels.”  He notes that Compassionate Care Hospice has nearly as many volunteers as it does paid employees.  He is thrilled to be involved with such a selfless and committed group of individuals!  For more information about Compassionate Care Hospice, or to contact any one of our guests today, email Michael at mmullink@cch.net, or call M inhale directly at (770) 220-2723.

We want to thank Griswold Home Care for sponsoring today’s show.  Griswold Home Care has been a preferred provider of high quality, affordable in-home senior care in Atlanta for 20 years.

Feng Shui is a much misunderstood and misused term which has perhaps hurt it’s being taken seriously in America.  Explaining there is a very big difference between Classical Feng Shui and “fokelore” Feng Shui.

Rochel explains that the “Classical” version  is based on mathematics while the other is about using talismans which act somewhat like post-it notes of what the viewer should be thinking or paying attention to then.  It’s the difference between “always on” vs. “momentary on” light switches, one is always there and on while you have to manually hole the other in the on position for it to work.

A practitioner who has been actively learning for 16 years and today is a sought after speaker on the subject. Rochel says she is not yet a Feng Shui master but is well on her way after 16 years practicing. The only way to become a master is to study with the Feng Shui masters who are found in Hong Kong, Malaysia and other countries surrounding China and through practicing their teachings over time.

Saying that it works by bringing a sense of being right and that you simply feel at home when the Feng Shui energy flows are aligned for you and your home. It’s a complicated process that would fill a four foot high book were it all written down in one place. It’s definitely not something you can get from a book or course, it’s a process of studying with masters of the art in the far east where the principles have been applied for 5,000 years in a place where you see examples of good and bad Feng Shui.

Working in business to bring prosperity, it’s used by many very well-known companies and personalities. Examples of how changing the bad energy flows to good has dramatically transformed the success of many very visible people in the news including “The Donald” Trump and Oprah Winfrey.

It’s a fascinating subject that there is a great deal of misunderstanding of and casual dismissal but when you listen to Rochel on today’s show, you’ll go away with a new appreciation of an ancient art and how it can improve your life and livelihood.

You can reach Rochel at www.fengshuitechnology.com 404-589-0308 and by email at: rochel@fengshuitechnology.com

Not only is summer travel season almost here, but international business travel is becoming the norm. Travel medicine is a rapidly evolving field of medicine.  As travelers prepare to travel, they must know the medical resources and care during their stay, and may require post travel follow up.

In 2012, over 1 billion people crossed international borders, yet reportedly, only 13% of them sought any kind of health care information or visits prior to departure.   People are traveling for business, as tourists, for adventure and for longer stays. The CDC estimates that 30-60% of travelers will be come ill as a result of their travel. This radio segment features pre-travel  preparation, vaccination requirements and recommendations, medical condition management, cruise ship concerns, and post travel care information as provided by Dr. Anderson and Kathy Buell, RN a local travel medicine expert with Passport Health.
