This is a fantastic interview with an individual who deeply cares about helping executives uncover the Why of what they do…both as a leader as well as an organization.  Phil takes time to talk to us about just how fast change is coming at us and how the primal response to change is fear.  He goes on to make a compelling case for the value of emotional intelligence when it comes to dealing with change.

“I don’t care what you think.  I only care what you do.”  These are some of the first words spoken by Phil to a new client.  Which admittedly sounds counter-intuitive.  But, according to Johnson, focusing on doing the right things will begin to force our minds to then think correctly.

Listen in and you will gain insight into employee engagement, productivity, change management, and the importance of vision casting.

An easy way to make linguine meals healthier is to add some veggies to the mix. In this recipe we add some soy beans or edamames. We have found that kids will eat edamames a lot easier than they will broccoli – so you might want to give them a try. Throw down some whole wheat pasta. Now in a pan saute some shelled edamame, lots of fresh garlic, pasta, your favorite spices and some vegetable broth. Cook all that up then mix in the cooked pasta warm it up a bit and chow down.

Kids are online and texting  like never before. Do this relatively new and “virtual” interactions affect them in real life? It seems that for the heavy users of these social media that it does. Kids who text over 100 times a day and are online using social media for over 3 hours a day seem to be also dabbling in illegal drugs and drinking alcohol at a far larger rate than their more Luddite peers. So parents – pay attention.

We interviewed Dr Patricia Riley and Bill Whalen from Ampli5. According to these guys – these wristbands actually produce strength, balance and coordination. And who wouldn’t want some more of all that? They are designed to somehow increase performance (just by wearing them) by balancing the natural energy field and frequencies of the body. All of this must be true because Dr Riley is a specialist in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. They patiently explained why their magic bracelets are better than all the other guys magic bracelets. Is this a scam or can this really help you – listen for yourself and you decide.
