If you are accosted by a person you should aim the spray at their face from 6-8 feet away then run like the Fat Guy is chasing you away from the dangerous situation. You can also use pepper spray when you are walking or running in areas where their might be wild animals. Fog sprays are not as effective as stream sprays which are more concentrated and tend to work better.
