About Arizona Corporate Commission
The Arizona Corporation Commission’s primary duty is to regulate the state’s utility services (electricity, water, gas, and wastewater) to ensure that we have safe, reliable, and affordable energy. In addition to regulating utilities, the Commission incorporates all businesses in the State, handles railroad and pipeline safety, and protects Arizonans against securities fraud.
The Commission is an elected Board comprised of 5 members. Each member is elected statewide and serves 4-year terms.
