Melanie Brandt is the President and CEO of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Atlanta. ACG is the ultimate resource for corporate development, private equity, investment banking and other professionals involved in mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to ACG, Melanie was the COO of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), providing strategic leadership and management of TAG’s operations, including key initiatives, fundraising and staff management, and initiated several noteworthy projects as COO, such as the Where Georgia Leads maps, the TAG Social Media Council, and the annual S.T.E.M. Education Awards.
In 2018, Melanie was honored by the Association for Corporate Growth for leadership and excellence. She was recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a “40 under 40” Atlanta Business and Community Leader in 2010 and in 2015 as a Woman Who Means Business. She is an active member of Perimeter Church and serves as the President for the Autrey Mill Middle School PTA Board of Directors, among other volunteer activities.
Melanie’s expertise is growing complex membership organizations. She has a comprehensive understanding of the corporate growth process and ecosystem including funding sources, legislative issues, and strategic M&A. Her accomplishments include outstanding revenue growth and diversification success and and the vision and execution of extremely successful and profitable large initiatives and conferences. She has a demonstrated history of hiring, developing, motivating and retaining top talent and managing a large number of employees and volunteers and she maintains an extensive network of investor, VP and C-level relationships.
Melanie has an MBA from the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and an undergrad degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
