Tracy Kathleen Woodard has music performance degrees from Georgia State University and University of Georgia. She is a board member of Eyedrum Gallery as well as executive director of the Atlanta Contemporary Ensemble, avant-garde chamber group Cantos Y Cuentos, and the homeless outreach non-profit Mad Housers. Her husband and partner in crime Nick Hess is also an extremely involved community activist, currently chairman of NPU-S, and their children Karl and Ada (age 9 and 7) have already clocked hundreds of hours doing both homeless outreach and classical music. They have been residents of Oakland City since 2000.
